   My name is China Zainal, and I was a fourty-six year old Indonesian-born sex worker living in Sydney, Australia.  On November thirtieth of two thousand and three, two witnesses saw me staggering down one street before collapsing in another.  They called an ambulance which took me to St. Vincent's Hospital.  I died at the hospital from nine stab wounds to the neck and upper torso.

   I'm Reshae McCauley, and I was a thirty year old transwoman in Largo, Florida.  On the evening of December seventh, two thousand and three, I visited Z109, a local club I frequented. Around two o'clock a.m., I left with a newcomer to the club. My body was discovered by her mother, Kim, the next evening.  I died of severe upper body trauma.

   My name was Pedro Cruz Ramos, and I was a thirty year old transwoman living in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  I was shot to death on February fourth, two thousand and four, allegedly by Eliezer Santana Baez.  I am the first reported anti-transgender death in Puerto Rico.

   No one knows my name, but I was a thirty-six year old transwoman was from East Tamaki, New Zealand.  My body was discovered in a car in South Aukland on the ninth of February.  There is very little known about me, and my killer or killers will likely never be found.

   I am Precious Armani, a thirty-seven year old, African-American preoperative transsexual from Atlanta, Georgia. At the time of my death I was living full time as a woman. I was shot in the head on February twenty-ninth, and I was found shortly after. My body was discovered slumped behind the wheel of a rented car outside my residence in a Buckhead apartment complex.

   My name is Mickey Ward-El Smith, and I was a nineteen year old transperson living in Washington, D.C.  I was shot ten times at Saratoga and twenty-fifth Streets NE, on March third. My wig had also been removed.  Unlike other recent anti-transgender murders in Washington, DC, very little seems to have been done about my death.

   I'm Augusto Flores Munoz, and I was a twenty-three year old transgender person living in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I was murdered on April sixteenth. Like Pedro Cruz Ramos, who was murdered in February, I was shot to death.  Police are also holding Eliezer Santana Baez in my murder.
8. 
   I'm Cedric Thomas, and I was a twenty year old who was wearing women's attire when attacked in Baton Rogue, Louisiana, on May eighteenth of this year.  Initially, this was simply an attempt to steal my purse.  I chased the attacker off, but he returned with a handgun.  He shot me several times, and I finally succumbed to those wounds on the fifth of June.

   No one is really sure of my name, but some suspect it was Uday Bhan Singh.  At least that was on my arm when they found me.  I was a twenty-eight year old cross dresser, and I earned a living as a eunuch in Delhi, India.  On June seventh, my body was found in a forested area along a roadway.  I was murdered. There were also numerous injuries to my back and hips.  My body was left partially undressed, with a wig and women's attire nearby.

    My name is forgotten. My body was was one of two discovered on a road near a Rio de Janeiro slum, Cidade de Deus, on July eleventh.  I was shot to death.

    No-one seems to know my name either.  I was the second of two transpeople found shot to death near Cidade de Deus in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on July eleventh.

    I'm Darryl Fearon, and I was a seventeen year old man from New York City.  I was not transgendered, but on July sixteenth I was walking with five friends, including three transgender women.  Christian Soto-Ruiz, a nineteen year old, approached us.  Soto-Ruiz allegedly made a comment about the transgender women, and a dispute broke out.  He slashed at one of the women, and I punched Soto-Ruiz in response. He then stabbed me.  I was pronounced dead at St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center.

    My name is Gennaro Rizzo, and I was a thirty year old resident of Cercola, Naples. On the thirteenth of July, my body was found near a highway bridge in Caserta, wearing female attire. A wig and other personal affects were discovered nearby.  I had been stabbed several times in the upper body.

    My name is Leandro Bispo Estavao, a twenty-one year old transgender sex worker in Boltiere in Bergamo, Italy.  I was killed in the early morning of July twentieth after my throat was slashed with a knife.
15. 
    I'm Tony "Delicious" Green, and I was a fourty-six year old African-American living in the Bayview neighborhood of San Francisco.  I identified as a woman from as early as age seven, and I was quick to correct people who assigned me the wrong pronouns.  On August thirteenth, a housekeeper at the Franciscan Motel on Third Street discovered my body.  I had been severely beaten to death.

    My name is Rivera Rene, and I was a thirty-two year old living on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids, Michigan.  A friend of mine found my body in my apartment on August fourteenth.  I was beaten and my throat was cut.
17. 
    I'm Joel Robles, a twenty-nine year old cross-dresser living in Fresno, California. Friends characterized me as a very loving and caring person who worked hard both as a dental assistant and for charity. I was planning to participate in a drag-queen fashion show just days after my death on August fifteenth. I was stabbed multiple times and left for dead in my apartment.  My alleged killer, Estanisalao Martinez, is in police custody and has been charged for my death.

    I am Bella Martinez, and I was twenty-four year old transwoman in Los Angeles, California. I was shot to death on August twenty-eighth. My body was found in my apartment by police, who were alerted by another transwoman that told them I'd been missing for several days.
19. 
    My name is Andre. I was a thirty-one year old Indonesian transvestite, and I was visiting George Town, Malaysia as a tourist.  On September thirteenth, two thousand and four, I was hit three times on the back of the head and neck with a blunt object, and had several abrasions along my arms, forehead, and right shoulder.  I was wearing a black skirt and Batick blouse, and a clutch bag was found near my body. My underwear was also pulled down, and police suspect that I may have been forcibly sodomized prior to death.
